Wow, ok I am officially almost a year behind on my blog. Poor Peyt, with no record of her life. I have it all in me head I hope, I just need to dedicate myself to getting it on here before I forget it! I'm sure no one really even reads this anymore, but it is such a good journaling tool so here's to trying to get caught up during the holidays when I have some down time. :)

March
Peyt in the jumper. She didn't love this thing as much as Boston did, but we caught her on a good night in this video.
We drove down to Vegas for Mountain West tournament. Brett and my brother Jordan went to all the BYU games and the kids and I hung out around town with the crazies and in the hotel room a lot. We got a little cabin fever but it was a fun trip.
Bored in the Hotel room. We all sat in the bathroom and watched Peyt talk to herself in the mirror. She is so cute I can hardly stand it.
This was a slightly forced memory. It was still a little chilly but Boston was DYING to go to the pool. So, we did.
We went to see the Pirate ship at Treasure Island during the day. ;) Did not take my 3 yr old to the scandalous "sirens" show. He picked out this telescope at the gift shop and looooves it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOSTON!!! I can not believe Boston turned 3 this year. Seriously , WHERE does the time go!? He is such a sweet boy and my best little buddy. He is so grown up. He potty trained himself a couple of months before his birthday (seriously, I did nothing, it was glorious), he loves his baby sister and is a big helper, still loves Buzz Light year, pirates, Lightning McQueen, and is starting to get into super heroes. He loves to watch movies, play outside on the tramp, learned how to ride his bike (video of that somewhere in this post), and is starting to "pretend". I love when I catch him doing this. Usually he is on his "cell phone" "talking to Nash or Gray". He helps clean up his own room and the baby toys in my room, and loves little responsibilities like putting his own bowl in the sink after cereal, putting his own stuff in the garbage, helping me dust, helping me vacuum, pushing his own small cart at the grocery store, taking care of Koda, basically anything he can do on his own. He is quite the independent little thing which at times is frustrating but you can't fault him for wanting to be big. :) He requests black eyed peas in the car, really thinks he can break dance, sleeps with his batting gloves on, I could go on and on. He makes me smile every day. His prayers before bed are so sweet and bedtime is often times my favorite time with him. He had a fun birthday and was way too spoiled.
He asked for a Pirate cake and I delivered. Love this cheesy grin.
Friends and family watching Boston open presents.
Hannah and Peyton.
Swimming at Grand-papas hotel. Recently I overheard this conversation between Boston and the neighbor boy that was over playing... Jumping on the tramp, Boston, " My grand papa has a Hotel, do you have a hotel? My grand papa has a hotel, but I don't have a hotel, but I will when I'm big. I'm big right now but I'll be bigger, watch this trick (lands on his bum and then to his feet, no hands)". LOL. That was one long run on sentence, that I had fun listening to. I always wondered what the heck little kids talk about and now I know.
He loves to go to Grand papa's hotel and swim
We took Boston skiing for his birthday. He had been waiting and waiting for this. He really wanted to go with my brothers and my dad and talked about it for months. He did really well and loved it so I think we will go again next year!
Dinner for my Mom's birthday.

February!
I tried to feed Peyton some rice cereal, she is 6 months at this point. She did not appreciate it.
I had the bright idea to pierce Peyton's ears. I thought it would be cute. I made a big deal out of it and then that night when I got her all ready for bed, looked at her and saw a sassy teenager instead of an innocent baby so... I took them out and decided I would keep her a baby for as long as I could.
Boston, like every other kid that lives in Utah wants to be Jimmer.
Whenever we go to the mall, which is rare these days, Boston begs me to go on this little train. I made Jordan ride it with him this time. He was thrilled. haha.
These are Boston's favorite little friends. The triplets. I love them. First snowman we've ever built. When I say we, I mean Boston and Brett. I was warm inside. It was cute watching them work on this together though.

January
Family time continued.....
Cutest little boys all in one bed. They were so excited to all sleep in the same bed. I thought for sure I would have to separate them at some point due to not sleeping, but NOPE, they were all out in like 10 minutes.
Peyt- almost 5 months- tried some food. hated it.
Boston is always grabbing my phone and wanting to pose for pictures. He picked this pose. Twins?
Family pictures taken by my friend Leah leahwatkinsphotography.com
Two of the handsomest boys I know!
Boy cousins
We went to the Aquarium A LOT in January. This year I decided I DESPISE winter.
Go Sox! Cutest little Red Sox fan I've ever seen. First time at the Discovery Gateway Museum. Loved it. 5 1/2 Months. Growing so fast! I feel like you can tell what she's going to look like at 16 in this picture. Scary.
Jazz game. Blue cotton candy = a mess. There was also a picture of me like this. WAY too scary to post. I deleted it right away.

December
Ok, ok.. So I didn't end up doing a post every day but 3 so far this week is pretty good considering. I am trying here.
BYU game with Dad. He wasn't even afraid of Cosmo :)
Jordan keeping Peyton happy during church. This girl is seriously the happiest, smiliest baby I have ever seen!
I can't remember if this was a Jazz game or a BYU game. We went to a lot of games this year. :)
We went to Idaho this year for Christmas. On Christmas Eve, my family gets together, eats a lot and then Santa comes and brings all the kiddies Christmas Eve jammies. We made some progress this year with Boston, he actually went and sat on Santa's lap with some coaxing. It took a A LOT to get him to go up and tell Santa that he REALLY REALLY wanted a Buzz. Peyton was asleep during Santa. Maybe next year.
This pretty lady is my kid's GREAT Grandma! Can you believe it?! She looks amazing right??!! I am praying I inherited these same "non aging" genes.
Christmas morning. So excited about the remote control Buzz!
Peytey got a baby. I loved getting girly things for her.
After Christmas we came back to Utah to spend time with Brett's family. Boston was so excited to play with his cousins that had been living in Texas. We hadn't seen them since summer and loved spending time with them while they were here! We have this same picture from last year. Fun to see how they have all changed.
My parents got these Sexy feet jammies for Brett. Nice eh?
Love all these little cuties!
Cutest buddies in their matching Buzz pj's watching Toy Story
This is about the time Peyt was rolling over, sleeping in her own bed, and through the night. We love her! The holidays were so fun with 2 kids. It was so fun to see Boston's reaction to everything, Santa, Christmas lights, singing Christmas songs, presents, fun family stuff, etc. I love my kids, they teach me things daily and are such a blessing in my life. Being a mom is so tiring, but so rewarding. Wouldn't trade it for anything!
