First Shiner

Boston got his first "shiner" the other day, so sad but I am gearing up because I'm sure it won't be his last. Poor guy is just trying to figure out this whole moving around thing and has had so many bumps and bruises the last couple of weeks. He either falls flat on his face or falls backwards and hits the back of his head. The good thing for me is afterwards he always wants to cuddle me for a long time. The other day he was up on his knees by our bed and lost his balance. He fell and hit his eye right on the steel bedframe that sticks out under the mattress. Poor little dude. If you make the picture bigger you can see better, he got a little cut on his eye and a nice bruise to go with it.

I haven't been so good at blogging lately. I think I may have gotten a little burned out there for awhile. Now I've got to play catch up. So just for fun here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks....

Brett and my brothers rock climbing. Don't you love Brett's headband? haha

Boston rock climbing. He really was holding on here all by himself, just being spotted of course. My boy is pretty tough but don't be deceived by this picture. He was SCREAMING, the most scared cry I've ever heard, but we laughed cause we thought it was cool that he could hold on by himself. We are so mean.

Caught him giving himself kisses in the mirror. He would kiss himself then get all excited, bouncing up and down and then do it again. So cute.

Helping Mom and Dad pick out a treadmill

There is a sweet sledding hill by our house. We went the other day with Brett's family and some friends. I think we realized when we got there that we had too many babies and it was really cold but it was still fun.

Halle and Gray pretending to drive the snowmobile. This is all Gray really wanted to do.

Dave and Jenny and the twins, don't they look cute in their matching coats!

This picture cracks me up! How FAT does Boston look in this picture! LOL!! He looks like he weighs like 50 pounds! My sweet little marshmellow man. He didn't have a thick winter coat and this borderline ugly full snowsuit was all I could find at 10:30 at Walmart the night before. I think this rivals the kid from "The Christmas Story"

You have to love the shiner stage... That marshmallow pic of him is adorable.

The shiners will keep coming. Isaac has had a few and now he will suddenly have booboos appear and I have no idea where they came from. Boys will be boys.

HA HA HA, two things about your post made me laugh out loud. #1 looking at the picture of Boston hanging there, and imagining him screaming. (cruel, but sorry its funny) I can't believe he just hung there! and #2 his fat picture in that sweet snowsuit. Thank you Walmart. Gotta Love it!
