I've been putting off cutting Boston's hair for some time now. Mostly because in my head cutting his hair meant that he would be a big boy and I wasn't ready for that. However his "shark fin" as we called it (the 2 maybe pushing 3 inch mohawk) and the mullet that hung over his collar and the hair that was an inch, maybe more over his ears was getting a little out of hand. So, I finally gave in and cut his hair last night. Phew.... he is still cute :)

Oh it's super cute! How fun that you can cut his hair! He is getting cuter and cuter! Grant & I were just talking about a stage we miss and we agreed that it's 6-8 months. Crawling is fun to see...just wait :)
aaahhhh the first cut! love it!
The first cut - I hope that you saved a lock for his baby book. It's cool that you can cut his hair!
I have been having the same debate with Addie's hair... not cool for a girl to have a mullet! oh and don't be sad I went to Gardner Village... i am totally up for going again Addilyn LOVED it so party on k?
Such a cute little little hair cute and such a cute boy!
Of course he was still going to be cute after his haircut :) I can imagine your face when you cut your bangs. Luckily you can still pull them back if you want and your hair grows really fast. But, they look cute and like something you were wanting to do.
the first time is the hardest!!! but it gets easier!!!
Hey Rachael-
I saw your blog linked to Nicole Leavitt's when I was blog stalking the other day. I didn't know you were married or had a baby. Boston is adorable and you look so happy! Congrats.

Boston is so stinkin cute! I haven't talked to you in a while hope everything is going great! Love ya!
very cool hair! I was always sad with the first hair cut also because they are turning into big boys:( I also like your hair cut, hehe, I did the same thing a few years ago because I can never wait, the good news is that it does grow back and you can't even tell on your pic.
I have the same feeling about haircuts. Isaac is 17 months now ans still hasnt had one but he needs one now. I almost took him last week. I packed my camera and everything and then wimped out at the last minute. Boston looks great though!
Of course he is still adorable! Great haircut...for both of you! Ha ha. It reminded me of the time my sister accidentally waxed off half of her eyebrow! Classic!
We just cut off Jonah's 2 inch rat tail... I was sad to let it go because then he'd be an official kid but then I realized it was just cruel to let it keep growing. HA! Boston looks adorable. Such a big boy! And good job on the chubby legs! They compete with baby Jonah's for cuteness! :) Miss and love you. COme visit us in NYC!
